The assembly has such complex geometries that they had to use an o-ring cord for it to seal properly.

This was a process where they cut the thin gasket cord and fitted it manually. It was labor-intensive and expensive.

The solution is liquid gasket

With a gasket dispenser, a liquid gasket is laid directly on the component. This gives an even gasket and a reliable sealing. In the process, the thickness of the gasket must be considered as well. It cannot be too thin or thick for the assembly to seal completely.

Laying a liquid gasket is less time-consuming because most manual steps are cut out. Furthermore, only the exact needed material is used for the gasket.
